Stuck-Up Suit
by Penelope Ward, Vi Keeland
I'm pretty sure this was my first read from this duo. What I like about their writing is that nothing seems forced and everything just flows. This book has no shortage of hilarious moments, that's for sure. It really is a light, feel-good kind of read. Soraya is just a good person and decided to return Graham's phone to him, only to find out that he's a total jerk. She leaves a little surprise on his phone. It's no secret that things develop between them and they begin get involve in a relationship. Just when everything was going fine, Vi and Penelope swoop in and change the dynamic. The twist was a bit predictable, but I still thoroughly enjoyed the story. While Soraya's motives were admirable, I was kinda upset she fell victim to the stereotypical actions that women in these kinds of situation do. Nonetheless, it was completely understandable. It would have been weird if she went down a different path because her character would never CHOOSE to do things differently. It definitely is hard not to fall in love with Graham, especially with how he handles the situations at the end of the novel. He just exudes confidence and is arrogant but in the most sexy kind of way.
