This was cute but not what I expected it to be. I thought this was going to be more puzzle-y/adventures but it wasn’t that. Also I didn’t dislike the characters but I just couldn’t relate to them at all in terms of age, relationships, or circumstances. A reader who could, would probably like this better than I did. And I thought the girl-power solution to Maggie’s eviction was too much. The book has a lot of threads to highlight what strong women look like in everyday life, it didn’t need all the women assembling like the Avengers to throw it in our faces.
