I read this book because it was my book club’s pick for this month, but it was out of my normal genres that I grab for! I can understand why this has so many high reviews, especially for people who enjoy and typically read Christian fiction. Some parts I enjoyed and some parts would have made me dnf if I wasn’t wanting to be part of the conversation at book club. I’m so glad this was a book club read, though, so that I stayed motivated to finish and know what happens. I was almost teary by the end! Not sure if I will read many more Christian fiction novels but this really was a great read.
