Where Sleeping Girls Lie by Faridah Àbíké-Íyímídé
5.0
adventurous challenging dark tense medium-paced

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ out of 5 stars

When I say I was HOOKED! This isn’t my first Faridah book, I was introduced to her amazing work through “Ace of Spades.” I truly loved this book! It was filled with supsense, and kept me wondering whodunit.

We follow our main character Sade, as she joins a new school, A. Noble Academy. As a new student, she is assigned a House Sister and Brother. Her House sister, who was also her roommate, Elizabeth, showed her the ropes to the school, but the next day she ends up missing. This leads to Sade teaming up with Basil and Peresphone to figure out the disappearance of Elizabeth.

I HIGHLY recommend this book, but please look at the trigger warnings! Mentions of SA, abuse, drugs, etc.
