Winning Ugly: Mental Warfare in Tennis--Lessons from a Master by Brad Gilbert, Steve Jamison

informative reflective medium-paced

3.75

I believe this is a very insightful read for tennis players, or people who at least follow tennis competitions a lot. However, as a person who is nowhere near an avid supporter of the sport I often found myself confused and, frankly, uninterested at times.
I initially picked the book up to learn about the psychological aspect of tennis, which I ultimately did, but it was certainly not the main focus of the book.
Overall, well-written, but is not a good fit for everyone imo
