“Slayers: A Buffyverse Story” is an absolute must for anyone who has ever loved Buffy the Vampire Slayer and needs more of that world in their life. As soon as I hit play, I was completely hooked—the original cast returning to voice their characters again was like coming home. Hearing Spike, Giles, Cordelia, and the others brought back all the memories and emotions from the show. The new character, Indira, fit right in, and everyone was amazing. Also the line of “Second Best Friend!” had me laughing out loud.

The multiverse twist with Cordelia as the Slayer was such a cool idea, and it felt fresh while still staying true to the Buffyverse. The mix of old and new was perfect, and it really hit that sweet spot of nostalgia and excitement for something different. Spike being at the center of the story was brilliant—I’ve always loved his character, and the dynamic between him and the rookie Slayer was fun and unexpected.

But OMG, the ending! I’m devastated that we might not get more of this because I’m desperate to know what happens next. It left me on the edge of my seat in the best (and worst) way possible. I can’t recommend this audiobook enough for Buffy fans—whether you’ve been around since the beginning or you’re diving into the Buffyverse for the first time, this will hit all the right notes. Absolutely five stars!
