Catch and Kill: Lies, Spies, and a Conspiracy to Protect Predators by Ronan Farrow
4.0
This book was simultaneously an enthralling and utterly depressing read. The allegations and scandal around hiding them makes the book gripping and keeps you turning pages. All the time though this is a real story about women who were raped, assaulted and then legally and financially pressured into silence. The book makes it clear that while one man committed the assault there were a collection of other people enabling him to continue doing so consequence free. This enabling continued in the face of clear evidence on what was happening. It's quite sickening to process that.
