The Slippery Slope
by Lemony Snicket
I thought this was such an amazing book. Daniel Handler is ingenious, creative, humorous and incorporates literature and philosophy flawlessly.
The 'task and trials' that the Baudelaires must solve and overcome are unique and always have out of the box and ingenious solutions.
The discussion on morality, 'becoming villains', 'the end justifies the means', 'the greater good', 'fighting fire with fire' was so well conducted and better than most adult and young adult book and this is a book targeted at young readers.
The symbolism, alliteration, definitions it was all golden.
Definitely recommend this series :)
