I have been a huge Terry Brooks fan since my teen years. I have read every Shannara book, the Void series and am finishing the continuation of that. I am not really sure why I never bothered to start this series until now. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The premise is entertaining, the characters are great. The progression of Ben Holiday from unfulfilled, lonely lawyer to a struggling, hard headed, dedicated King in what would normally be an imaginary world so far has been great. I look forward to the rest of this series and the continuation with the newest Princess of Landover.
