A Secret for a Secret by Helena Hunting

3.0

3.5 stars on this one. I liked the story, but not as much as the first two from the series. There were a few things that just annoyed me about this one, mostly Queenie. I really hated that name. Lol That's a silly reason to not love a book, but it really did annoy me. I can't help that. Also, I actually dated a guy in my early 20s who had a daughter who was being raised by his parents as his sister. I thought that was so weird and effed up. I don't know if they ever told her the truth when she got older, but what a mindfuck to find out that your brother is actually your dad. The story made me think back on that guy, and he was pretty much a douchebag toward the end of our relationship so it wasn't the best memory. That being said, the story did have it's cute parts. I loved the characters from the first two stories being included, and it did have a sweet ending. I have a feeling the next book will be about Jake and possibly Kingston's "momster" as his love interest. I guess that's cool, but it is a little incestuous. Haha. I am sure I will read it, though. I'm hooked on this series.
