So yes...it's pretty messed up that a man was convicted based on purely circumstantial evidence, but even after listening to this, I still think David did it. The one thing that really annoyed me was that in the first chapter, the narrators mentioned that David had scratches on his hands the day he went to talk to the police - a pretty damning fact, I would say - and then they never bring up that piece of evidence again. Did I imagine that? Because I pretty clearly remember hearing that. Overall, this was a very compelling audiobook and it definitely calls into question the Scottish justice system (not that the American one is any better).
