Kick me in the feels again.
I knew this book was going to be another wild ride. Here we are. Now I have to wait 🙃 damnit.
Empire of the Damned suffers through some mild sophomore slump moments, but overall I think rounds out to be quite solid. There are some slower moments that just don’t seem important - I think mostly because book one felt so go-go-go. I’m not mad tho… except for the fact it built me up to hurt me worse later 😮💨
