I am OBSESSED and pissed at myself for not reading this sooner. I can’t remember the last time a book had me hooked like this. The FMC grew on me and I very quickly was rooting for her. This book genuinely scared me because being a woman in the 1950s…. Was horrifying!!! 🫣 the writing was fantastic and I really appreciated the research that went into this, which is mentioned in the authors note.
Genuinely everything I want in a horror book. Disturbing with social commentary/something to say. This book will be my new personality for the foreseeable future lol
Also the audiobook narrator did a fantastic job 🥰 now I need this author to write more books like this ASAP
