I’d forgotten how a well placed unobtrusive time jump can move a narrative along. We didn’t need every moment of Alanna’s life aged 14-18. The pacing of this series is part of what I like so much about it. Contemplating reading something else before returning to The Woman Who Rides Like a Man.
