I haven't read the original Jekyll and Hyde work, but I did find this fascinating. This is a modern retelling. It's definitely sexier than any other retelling that I've seen. This was a quick novella read, but I would be lying if I didn't say that I would be interested in a more fleshed-out story. Catherine is torn about how she feels about Dr. Henry Jekyll and how she should feel about Mr. Edward Hyde. I also would be interested in seeing Jekyll learn how to integrate Hyde into his full being. This is a good read. I wished it could have been more, but definitely good for what it is.
