I bought this because it was 99p on Kindle, working on the basis that if I found it as disappointing as Richard Osman's first book (which I DNF'd 50 pages in) at least I wouldn't be annoyed I'd wasted any money. I'm incredibly glad took the chance because I really enjoyed it. I liked the writing style, enjoyed the vivid descriptions of court and chambers, found the characters well written and believable, and thought plot was excellent, with a twist I didn't see coming.

A proper page turner of a murder mystery; I'm definitely going to read the next book in the series.
