I’m confused as to why this book was rated to low. I’m not a huge fan of psychological thrillers and this one had me. Maybe it was the mini love story or the creeper church vibes, but everyone in this was so creepy you just never seemed to know who was the creepy one. Who was the person with the hidden past? I will say that it did seem like the ending was rushed. I could have read another 100 pages or so.
A man infiltrates a woman’s life and slowly turns her away from all of her family and friends until her entire life is that of The Church. Her husband is an attorney and solely works for the church, they socialize only with church patrons and never see her family.
