As a great sequel to Noughts and Crosses, there are some storylines mentioned in the first book that have not yet been developed. I hope Blackman decides to elaborate further in the series whilst not letting the characters loose their spark.
I'm hoping Sephys post natal depression gets explored further in the third book despite the focus on Callie. This is one of he many storylines I hope don't get abandoned.

The ending lines built up suspense, but the final chapters did fall a bit flat despite that.
