While I loved the first two books in this series and fell into them super quickly, I can’t say the same about this one. I want to, but I can’t. Shame because being a therapist myself, I was very interested in Tate’s character, and Jude’s intrigued me since the first book. Great read with a surprising ending for sure. I certainly didn’t put that together. The slow burn relationship worked well for Jude and Tate and I enjoyed the insight from the other family members.

But this book felt like it was written rushed and thus, underdeveloped. Even with a slow burn, the romance felt rushed and just not enough. The entire plot, really. Everything therapy related seemed to go away at some point. Unlike the others which hooked me right away, this one book nearly half to hold my attention.

Overall good read, but just a bit of a letdown from what I was hoping for.
