This is a slow and difficult read. There is no action at all, and is almost purely taking place in characters' heads. It made me feel a sense of lonliness.
It is beautifully done and I especially loved everything in brackets in the Time Passes section. They break up the flowy, almost dreamlike narrative with a frank directness that impressed me.
I feel like this is a book one needs to read multiple times and will be coming back to it.
