Yeah that third and fourth chapter was not it. This book definitely took a turn for the worst and then proceeded to steamroll into it's decision.
The manga started off really cute, not the best plot I've read but I was having a good time. Where I would love to understand the authors thinking is when they're on their cute little not date date, and our MC professes his feelings. That was all fine and dandy, but why did the author choose to escalate that cute confession scene to them making out immediately. And then more and more? Everything up until that point felt decently paced and then that whole process felt rushed.
And then there's chapter four. What the fuck was that. If someone has a boundary when they're sober that doesn't mean you need to get them drunk in order for them to bend their boundary. I will never be okay with that. Not to mention all of a sudden I was dropped into the land of smut and i was caught completely off guard. Give a girl a few hints that we're heading in that direction so I can mentally prepare or choose not to read it instead of being jump scared. (I probably should have researched this book a bit more before reading it) Whatever. I'm giving it a one-star purely based off of chapter four
