I like second chance romances a lot because they tend to be so angsty and this one was not the exception, however, I wanted to see Chase fight harder to get Alina back.
Other than that, they were cute together, their love was intense. I was so happy for them.
This book mentions some dark themes like drug addiction, alcoholism, death, and more so I recommend checking trigger warnings first.
This is the end of Chase and Alina's story, but there are still loose ends when it comes to secondary characters here that I hope to see as main characters in the next books in the series.
Overall, it was a fast and enjoyable read for me, nothing extraordinary, but it got me hooked from start to finish.
