The Loneliness of the Long-Distance Cartoonist by Adrian Tomine

3.0

I can't remember the last time I laughed out loud this much to a comic book. I enjoyed seeing a few milestones and strange moments in Adrian Tomine's career, the unsurprising drudgery of it all. All the stuff that *isn't* making art. I can't believe anyone can make a career work as a cartoonist, so it was kind of inspiring to see him thrive in spite of it. The Moleskin notebook presentation was a nice touch.
