A demon ironically named Faith is on her last chance to meet her quota of souls to damn or she’s being sent to the Pits of Hell. In comes Byron, he’s a womanizer and generally just a jerk.

I didn’t know cozy smut was a thing but apparently it is. This was super cute, fun and extremely smutty. I really enjoyed the dynamic between Faith and Byron. Faith is a Dom and Byron is a switch, even though all his past experiences he’s the top.

There’s lots of food play, I think mostly because when Faith goes topside to Earth she opens up a candy shop hoping to lure in dark souls.

It’s a short book so it’s very insta lust/insta love but I didn’t mind. The story worked for a novella and the smutty scenes were hot. There’s also something so funny and enjoyable about seeing monsters in office/work type settings. Definitely a good palette cleanser book.
