Written in a letter form to an ambiguous friend
What if China attacked America, but acted like the British in the American Revolution? Sticking to tradition and structure, depending more on AI than common sense. This is what this short story basically asks. China is smarter than this. Throw in way too many cultural references and then sprinkle in some politics. This story quickly became difficult for me to connect with. The logic of it to begin with, then not really caring that the antagonist was growing a soul after being so gung ho for war. Wasn't my cup of tea. Well written though. Flows and had a progression that made sense.
