So I’ve been teaching myself Spanish on and off for the past year and a half. I had read the first Harry Potter book in Spanish like a year ago, but I decided I wanted to try to read something originally written in Spanish that I hadn’t previously read in English, and I stumbled across this book and decided to give it a try. I mostly was reading it just to improve my Spanish and wasn’t expecting to get super into it, but it ended up being one of my favorite romances I read this year. I wish it was translated in English somewhere so I could recommend it to more people. It was just a really lovely second chance romance. The slow development of Mike and Rachel rebuilding their relationship and Rachel learning to trust him again was absolutely perfect. The friendship between the two of them and Luke and Jason was also excellent and really made me want to read Luke and Jason’s books as well. It looks like Luke’s book is coming out in January, and I am super excited for that. So yeah, this was just wonderful!
