This novella was a bit underwhelming.

The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde by Robert Stevenson is a gothic novella set in Victorian London following the investigation of strange occurrences surrounding a well-respected scientist and his mysterious connection to a violent, shadowy figure. This felt kind of meh. There is not much action in this story as most of the narrative takes place by one person telling another what happened, and because of that, this book felt much longer than it actually was. There was nothing inherently wrong with this story. The concepts are cool in theory, and it is considered a classic for a reason. This just didn’t do it for me.
