π§πΏπΆπ΄π΄π²πΏπ: cancer, death of parent
The most perfect ending for this series!! If you thought Walker and Wyatt were hot, wait until you find out how hot Forrest can be.
Shauna and Forrest were together during high school, but their relationship did not last when the distance between colleges became too big. The breakup that took place affected both of them: Shauna tried to have a new life in Vegas, while Forrest stayed at home to heal a broken heart.
They meet again after many years by chance where Forrest finds out that Shauna is going to get married soon. He returns home with more heart pieces broken, but right on the wedding day he returns to say everything that he has on his heart.
A little later, Shauna and Forrest meet again but this time in Newberry Spring, where Shauna will work together with Forrest's mother for an event. This return of Shauna also brings the return of some old feelings deeply buried in their souls.
Attraction is not a problem for them, but they both have to find and fight for their new relationship. It takes them something to stabilize the relationship, but although the process is a bit painful, it is a beautiful one.
I really liked how everyone tried to get them to be together so that Forrest stops being so grumpy with them. But what I really liked was how Shauna took all the secrets out of Forrest and helped him share them with his family and become a better man.
Thank you Harlow James for this opportunity to read this amazing book in exchange for an honest review.
