A Fine Balance
by Rohinton Mistry
I would have given this book 3 stars for the first 300/600 pages. While the author does a wondeful job of intertwining all these separate lives and stories, I didn't feel compelled to read and follow the story until I got to page 300 or so.
Rough. Don't read this book if you want sunshine, butterflies, or a sense that there aren't little pieces of hell on earth.
