The ONLY reason I didn’t give this book 5 stars is because TJ Klune blew my mind with Wolfsong and I’m not sure anything can come close to that for a long, long time. Once again though, the YEARNING and the HEARTBREAK in this freaking series is going to be the death of me. Not to mention how absolutely hilarious Klune’s writing is when he’s not ripping your heart out. Gordo, Chris, Tanner, and Rico are SUCH good characters and have such amazing chemistry. Mark deserves the world and I hope we see resolution there in the next book. I don’t know how much more pain he or I can take. I wish we saw more Ox and Joe but knowing they’re in the background taking care of their pack makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside. Klune does such a good job at writing badass but lovable characters and every chapter I read has me smirking, smiling, or borderline crying at my book. Ultimately? Amazing and I do not regret for a second jumping headfirst into this series. I’m only two books in and I’m already sad there aren’t more than four.
