I wanted to finish the trilogy, but I was definitely expecting more from the books, after seeing how many people recommended the books.
I didn't really connect with the characters, or get emotional during the books (there was only one scene that I was a bit emotional). I like to get lost in the story, and be fully invested in the characters.
Especially in this last book I found myself getting a bit bored, and the storyline started to feel a bit repetitive.
