Against the Darkness by Kendare Blake

3.0

This took a while to get going. I was pretty bored for the first half and frustrated with the lack of urgency when they were supposed to be saving people. A lot of teenage angst, which is appropriate for the actual target market, but not for me.

The slow first half did do a good job of reminding me of what was happening though, and reintroducing me to the characters. So then when the second half picked up, I found myself very invested and I had a lot of fun with it. I think this series does a good job of capturing the original bufffy vibes :)
