Brother Odd by Dean Koontz
4.0

I listened to this book on tape, and for some reason I really enjoyed it. I haven't read the first 2 books in this series, but that didn't seem to interfere with my ability to understand the story. It was very different than I had thought it would be. The cover made it look so ominous, but most of the story is actually quite humorous. I loved the wordplay that takes place between the main character and the Russian "librarian". Some of the writing seemed a little juvenile, but other parts made me laugh out loud. I'm definitely looking forward to reading the first two books.
