I’ve probably read this book 5+ times in my life and I always find myself going back to it. It’s YA but it’s written so well and the plot and character development is so great that I don’t even mind the lack of explicit smutt. Jillian and Max’s story is boy next door who’ve both been thru stuff that they learn how to get thru together. It tackles family dynamics, infidelity with parents, how medical incidents can change a family, new additions, teen drinking, drunk driving and more. It was so much more then just a cute love story between two neighbors who have know eachother their whole lives
Graphic: Alcohol, Cursing, Grief, Medical content, and Pregnancy
Moderate: Sexual content and Infertility
Minor: Vomit and Violence
