i liked the writing and the short chapters. but for some reason, the plot twist just didn’t seem to hit me the way it hit other people. i wanted it too and no i didn’t predict it, but it just… didn’t. a lot of characters felt empty especially our mc and i do know that she was going through amnesia but i do wish she was a lil more fleshed out. all the adults felt like one person merged into one bc i seriously could not learn them apart. the book had some really nice moments but besides that, it fell kinda flat on me and I’m not sure why.
