I'll preface this with saying this book was not what I thought it was going to be going in and I wasn't enjoying it. So I put it in a pile and came back to it knowing now what the book was and picked it up prepared. I wanted to fuck with this book so badly but I couldn't.  The jumbled rants and tirades in the book took me out of the horror, which I don't think  was the author intention. I think her anger (justifiable ofc)  was meant to add to the horror and for me it just didn't. It added  confusion and took me right out of all the good parts of the book.  At the end it felt like she couldnt decided how to end so she put all her ideas on some weird montage/time flash scene. I think I understood what the author was trying to do but maybe I didn't  Totally fair that this book just might not be meant for me which is why I don't vibe with it.  Excellent horror elements in part 2,  was the best part of the book and where her love of  the genre really shone. So ham-fisted with metaphors it made me wanna puke.
