This was a cute book, but kind of boring? 

I enjoyed it, but I also feel like it was very surface-level. I loved the beginning of the book with the emails, but it never reached that level again when that stopped. 

I liked the characters and the plot with the book industry, but I wasn’t ever fully invested or hooked.
