If you like character development to be the driving force in a literary romance as opposed to the relationship blossoming, this is a fantastic book. It focuses on 2nd chance romance and explaining why it didn’t work, but how much they influenced the other from such a young age.
It also does a great job of someone living with an invisible illness a constant thing, not just a plot point.
I would recommend this to anyone who wants less fluff and more reality in their romance books
