Lord have mercy this was incredible, I am shocked that this is a debut and am so excited for whatever DeAndra Davis writes next. Aiden was written so well, to the point that I had to pause after scenes where he got overstimulated because it felt so similar to the way I experience it. Aiden and Brandon’s love and care for each other was so special, and their growth both as siblings and individually was really wonderful. The intersections of identities and their implications were explored really well, and I especially appreciated the way disability was discussed.
