While the book is vastly different from the Hallmark tv series, the story does have the same feel to it. You fall in love with these characters right away and discovering the Canadian West alongside Elizabeth is such a thrill. I also love that faith plays a big role in all of Janette Oke’a stories and that she tells love stories in such a ‘slow’ and honerable way. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series!
