I remember watching all the Amityville movies growing up, so I was excited to read this one. I loved all the little details about the house. The descriptions were very vivid, I felt like I could smell some of the scenes. I thought it was interesting to read about Sombrack's previous filming locations.
I liked Lois and Shauna. I thought Lois was funny. All her little sayings made me laugh. I liked how she never backed down from Shooter and always had something to say back to him. When she spoke during the seance, my eyes got wide, I knew things were about to get crazy. The scenes with Shauna and Shooter were hard to read, but he had his funny moments, too. I think Joey made me the most uncomfortable. 'Buggery' and 'Deeper' made my skin crawl the most. I thought how Joey did his outline for the plot was neat!
I've only gotten to read 2 out of 3 authors in this one, so I will need to check out the third author. I thought it was fun getting to see the author's writing style shine through, while at the same time, the whole story flowed so well that I almost forgot I was reading multiple authors. I always like when you can find little bits about their previous works in there, too.
