This wasn’t too bad. I love voyeuristic thrillers and the setting for this one was nice and eerie. I chose it for the Goodreads summer reads challenge since I already owned it and hadn’t read it yet. The protagonist is a grieving alcoholic and alcohol use is a heavy theme throughout book so be careful if that triggers you. I can honestly say I didn’t quite expect the twist, though thinking back hints were definitely dropped throughout the first half. The ending was a little too drawn out for me, but I get that the author had a lot of bases to cover for it to make sense. Solid read overall.
