OH MY BEATING HEART!!! This book was
EVERYTHING I could ever hope for and MORE!! Hands down one of my favorite romance books EVER!! WHAT A SWEET, FUN, HILARIOUS, HEARTWARMING, WHOLESOME, EMOTIONAL, HEARTBREAKING, MAGICAL, CHARMING AND BEAUTIFULLY WRITTEN MASTERPIECE!!! Georgie, All Along has your grumpy guy/Sunshine girl trope, forced proximity (temporary housemates), dual POV, slow burn romance with small town vibes and is packed with witty banter, insane tension, tender moments, incredible chemistry, amazing secondary characters and the cutest dog ever! If all that is not enough to convince you to read this book then let me tell you more! Is it a love story? Yes, but with an abundance of immeasurable depth! The story is about family, career, friendships, love, regrets, forgiveness, personal growth and living in the moment without having to have your life completely figured out. This is my first read by Kate Clayborn and I can safely say it will not be my last! I absolutely LOVED this book so much and is easily one of my favorite romance books for 2024!!π©·ππ©·ππ©·
Following an unexpected job loss, Georgie decides to return to her hometown, seeking solace and a new beginning. Levi, the unexpected guest, happens to be the older brother of her high school crush. When she rediscovers a "friendfic" diary she wrote in high school, filled with the possible lives she imagined for herself, she starts to question and reflect on the changes in her life, pondering what happened to the person she used to be.
