Currently reading Septimus Heap again and upon reading this little book I do want to give a shout out to the illustrator. Every book is consistent and every character is drawn to perfection. You have to love it when the illustrator actually reads a description of the people they are drawing. Love the growth and changes he makes and how he really does bring them to life.

I'm glad I have this book, I'm a little upset that it hasn't come out in paperback and probably won't.
Cute and fun if you are a fan of the series then this is a must for you to own. It adds some back story, more humor, and a little bit of of snark. I think that this is an amazing series of books, and I always recommend it to people who have recently finished Harry Potter, or are kids who want a big book.
