The Pirate's Bed by Nicola Winstanley

3.0

This was a very enjoyable book. I really liked the concept of the bed's adventure; it was an unusual take. The illustrations were brilliantly colored and extremely playful in nature. Though the pictures were somewhat peculiar, they did not detract from the story. The unexpected ending with the carpenter, the mother, and the ongoing gifting was utterly charming.
