I really wanted to like this book, but I feel like I missed something. I just didn’t get into it at all. I respect it as a piece of literature, but I really feel like I missed something. I’m sad about that. I think I also wanted to see more of Santiago’s adventure. The book was so short. I think I just wanted more.
