Dan is back in town after he gets some sad news about his father. As he is trying to figure out what happened to his father, at the same time he is trying to uncover another mystery that has haunted him for a very long time. Under the mystery of trying to figure out what is going there is a sense of wanting to heal a fractured relationship. The story goes back and forth between the past and present with POVs from multiple characters perspective.
I enjoyed the story and the pacing, the conclusion was unexpected and I loved it.
