The Best of Friends by Lucinda Berry
3.0

There were days when I was fierce. I want to explain this to her. Give her a picture of someone besides this mess. But I can’t. I lost that girl a long time ago, and I don’t know how to find her.

Best friends Lindsey, Kendra and Dani endure every parents nightmare when a tragic accident befalls on their teenage sons, leaving one dead, another in a coma and one too traumatised to speak. Reeling from the worst night of their lives, the three mothers plunge into a desperate investigation of the incident. What was the truth and what really happened that night?

I hated how this book ended there was way too many loose ends, not many questions were answered and the plot twist of who does it was in the end pretty predictable. If I have been honest all the parents should either be in prison or therapy because the way all the adults acted no wonder their children turned out the way they did. I also found it really gross how some of the other children were treated during all of this I felt like some of them shouldn’t of been parents in the first place. This story generally had potential but it just felt really incomplete.
