I feel like this book had much potential, like, the concept is a really good idea, it could have been a rather complex story.
But it wasn't. I had some problems when reading. Almost everything felt so rushed, I couldn't bond with the protagonists or any of the other characters. Marguerite rushed from one dimension into the next without thinking what she's leaving behind or what she just did with the life of that dimension's Marguerite. The pacing wasn't good, there could have been more detail, especially about the past or her relationships in her home dimension, and I was missing the parts where she actually slowed down to consider her options instead of just tackling the things as they come.
She had so much time to think about everything when she was in Russia! What did she do all day?!

At first I was also thinking that the plot maybe wasn't as detailed because the scenes with the love interest would be... But they weren't. Nothing was described on detail in any part of the story, definitely not the show don't tell I was expecting.
I'm also sick of the love interest being the tall and muscular guy who knows everything and her just being clueless

The story just didn't come to life for me, like I already said, this book had much potential but didn't rise up to my expectations.
