I didn't think that not seeing a "to be continued" would hurt this much. I don't think I ever would've been ready to see this series end. And I know they said there'll still be more (I assume one-off?) stories down the line (I need more about Diane, please!), but this is the end of the monthly issues and therefore the end of an era.
I didn't start reading this series immediately - it took me until mid-2016 to get into it - but man. 4 years of my reading life, come to a close. I will easily admit that I cried. I love this series, and it'll always hold a special place in my heart.
